The US Department of Tresury and Federal Reserve unveiled the design for a new $100 bill that includes several anti-counterfeiting security measures. The bill, which replaces one designed in 1996, will begin circulating in February, 2011.

A 3D security ribbon on the front of the bill contains images of bells and 100s that move and change as the currency is tilted. The bell in the inkwell changes color from copper to green, which makes it seem to appear and disappear.

Thieves broke into reality star Kourtney Kardashian’s southern California home this weekend and stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, according to reports.

Kardashian, a socialite best known for the reality shows “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami,” went to dinner with boyfriend Scott Disick about 7 p.m. Saturday.

She returned about 8:30 p.m. to find her Calabasas townhouse ransacked, according to TMZ.

Among the items the pregnant starlet reported missing were her $30,000 Cartier watch, Disick’s Rolex and various pricey diamond pieces.

Thieves also took off with Kardashian’s vintage jewelry left to her by her late dad, Robert Kardashian, a prominent lawyer who helped defend O.J. Simpson in his murder trial, TMZ reported.

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. is investigating and so far puts the loss at $80,000, according to People.com.

Kardashian, whose family owns several high-end boutiques, is the latest young starlet to be victimized by burglars.

In the last 10 months, thieves have broken into the homes of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge, Hayden Panettiere and Rachel Bilson, People.com reported.

Kourtney’s sister Khloe Kardashian married Los Angeles Laker Lamar Odom in a high-profile wedding in Beverly Hills last month.

Lindsay Lohan talked about her recent robbery on Twitter and Lohan seems to think an old friend robbed her. LiLo said it wasn’t a robbery, it seems like an old friendwho did the job. Some friend..

Lohan’s robbers were caught on security tape. the LAPD released photos from the surveillance tape showing three young individuals with white scarves draped over their heads as they entered the premises. According to the Police descriptions, the suspects entered LiLo’s house through an UNLOCKED door. There were one white male and two white females.

So no electronics were stolen but watches and other valuables were stolen perhaps they don’t want electronics? Bitch, why didn’t you at least lock your door? You live in L.A. not Switzerland. Then again, I think they lock their doors in Switzerland too.

Chris Brown partying only hours after he was sentenced for beating up his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. A bit shocking considering how Chris has said he’s “ashamed and embarrassed” by his actions when he brutally beat his then-girlfriendRihanna, but fuck it.

Brown was snapped Tuesday night dancing the night away at a club “Guys and Dolls” in Hollywood. Chris at one point seems to be on top of a table clapping and singing along to a Michael Jackson song.

Lindsay Lohan’s neighbors want her gone. It seems that ever since Lindsay moved in to the neighborhood, it has gone downhill. And the neighbors are not pleased. They claim the second break in proves that drugs are still a big part of Lindsay’s life and it is affecting all of them.

The neighbors of Lindsay include Ryan Gosling and Vince Vaughan. The photographers never seem to bother them! According to Radar Online:

“The truth is that this is a very quiet neighborhood and there have been no break-ins apart from at Lindsay Lohan’s house,” a neighbor told RadarOnline.com. “Since she moved in last November it has been a nightmare with all the paparazzi parking in our driveways waiting for her.”

LaToya Jackson has always been the most outspoken member of the famous Jackson family and after two weeks of silence, she has opened up about her belief that her brother Michael Jackson was murdered.  The first hint that the family suspected foul play in Jackson’s June 25, 2009 death was their request for a second autopsy.

While the family awaits the results of toxicology reports and the completion of the investigation into who supplied the drugs that were discovered at Jackson’s rented Holmby Hills estate, LaToya broke her silence over the weekend.

In an interview with New of the World in London, LaToya bluntly claims, “Michael was murdered.”  She believes that it was a conspiracy to get her brother’s money.  She said he always feared that people were out to get him because of the music catalogue holdings that give him the publishing rights to most of the Beatle’s greatest hits.  The value is estimated to be upwards of $500 million.  LaToya believes her brother’s estate will be valued at $1 billion, while acknowledging that “he was worth more dead than alive.”

There is also the matter of approximately $1 million in cash and jewelry that the family suspects was removed from Jackson’s house in the hours after his death, amid the confusion of people coming and going.  Family members including LaToya, Janet Jackson and Katherine Jackson went to Michael’s rented residence to oversee the moving of some of Michael’s possessions into a moving van.  They were unable to find cash that he always had hidden for day to day expenses.

LaToya said that Michael told her he was going on a six month drug detox in preparation for his 50 concert comeback tour in London.  She suspected that he was actually being given drugs by people who intentionally wanted him hooked.  She said, “Michael had many needle marks on his neck and on his arms, and more about those will emerge in the next few weeks.  But nothing has changed my mind that this was murder.”

Jackson’s sister said that the family tried to reach out to Michael recently but those who were in Jackson’s camp “tried to keep the family away at all times.”  Joe Jackson apparently agrees with his daughter because he told ABC news on Friday, “I do believe it was foul play.  I do believe that.”

LaToya said that the tragedy has brought them closer together as a family and they are determined to get to the bottom of his death.

Paris Hilton went to a Miami court yesterday and flirted with the judge. Paris is being sued by a now-defunct production company for not promoting one of her movies,Pledge This! Apparently, Hilton signed a contract saying she would promote the movie’s DVD release. The movie’s producers are claiming she did nothing of the sort.

Levi Johnston is certainly not passing up opportunities to cash in on Sarah Palin’s fame by speaking about the Alaska governor every chance he gets.

This at least makes sense from the standpoint of him wanting to be in the news. Why she actually plays along by continuing the feud is another story.

Addressing her impending resignation as Governor of Alaska on the Today Show this morning, Levi Johnston said  Sarah Palin quit to get rich, basically.

Living with the Palin family, “she was always talkin’ about how [being governor] is a very stressful job,” Johnston said. “After the campaign and things, we had tons of offers … from everybody out there; just all kinds of ridiculous things.”

Johnston, who knocked up Sarah’s daughter Bristol Palin, said he believes Sarah earned more than the $7 million that’s been reported for her Harper Collins book deal: “I’ve heard anything from $7 to $9 million. It’s up there.”

An attorney for R&B singer Chris Brown has asked the California Supreme Court to delay the assault case against the pop star until it can rule on the lawyer’s attempt to get information from police. Court records showed on Tuesday that the court has not ruled on the request by attorney Mark Geragos, who is defending the 20-year-old Brown against a charge that in February he beat former girlfriend Rihanna. Geragos’ appeal with the California Supreme Court seeks to delay a Los Angeles Superior Court hearing set for Monday. Geragos is seeking the delay while he asks the California Supreme Court to rule on his request for information from Los Angeles police. Geragos wants details on a police probe of a photo leak that showed Rihanna looking bruised and bloodied. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg last month denied Geragos’ request for information about the photo leak, saying it was too early in the case to deal with that. Rihanna, 21, has been called to appear at the Los Angeles court hearing set for Monday and if asked to testify, her attorney has said she will do so. Brown would also be present.

The lawsuit against Kim Kardashian has been dropped. Kim had been accused of racking up charges on a credit card for her former employer, Brandy’s mother.Kim’s siblings Khloe and Kourtney and even Robert Jr were also accused in the bill.

Kim has denied any wrongdoing. From BuddyTV:

Brandy’s mom, Sonja Norwood, sued the reality TV star, who once worked as the stylist of the singer.  She accused Kardashian of charging more than $120,000 to a credit card without permission.

Kim worked as Brandy’s stylist in 2004 and was allowed to use the Norwood American Express card for a single item.  Norwood then claimed to discover unauthorized purchases on the card, then later accused Kim Kardashian of passing on the card number to her siblings.

With that, the lawsuit was dismissed on the 1st of June without prejudice.  This means the case can no longer be re-filed or appealed.  As for comments from both parties, neither could be reached to speak about the matter.

Rihanna is allegedly threatening to leak ex-boyfriend Chris Brown’s nude photos on the Internet. Chris Brown denied having anything to do with the leak of Rihanna’s nude photos which hit the Net with a venegence earlier this month. But Ri Ri isn’t buying it and she’s threatening to leak some  photos of Brown in retaliation.

A friend of Rihanna tells Star June 7th edition:

“She says she’s [Rihanna] going to release her own photos of Chris. She has less-than-flattering nude pics of him that she plans on leaking.Rihanna says he’ll be really embarrassed”

Rihanna is said to testify against Chris Brown in a preliminary hearing scheduled on June 22nd.

Just last week, Brooke told celeb blogger Perez Hilton that people ”have told”her that her mother is doing drugs, and that her underage boyfriend (oh and did we mention, Brooke’s former classmate!), Charlie Hill, is ”the epitome of losers.”

It’s one thing to shoot back at your ex-husband, but Linda doesn’t even hold back when it comes to her own kids!

”Brooke has always had a problem telling the truth, including that her breasts are natural” she told Hilton in response to her daughter’s remarks.

What a great mom! Outing your own daughter in an attempt to make yourself look better! The Hogan’s Know Best?! Apparently not so much.

Although both parties are pretty messed up, Hulk is willing to do whatever it takes to prove that Linda’s allegations are complete bullshit.

”In terms of the ongoing divorce suit, Hulk Hogan and his legal team would gladly take Linda up on her offer to submit to a legally supervised drug test and certainly Terry would do the same. We believe the results would speak for themselves and reveal that Linda’s idea of a good time would definitely not be appropriate for Mass or a family restaurant,”Hulk’s lawyer, David Houston said in a statement to Usmagazine.com.

Newly-incarcerated rapper T.I. is also a newlywed – the hip-hop star reportedly tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend in a secret ceremony before heading to prison.

The Live Your Life hitmaker – real name Clifford Harris, Jr. – married Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle before immediate family members on an island off the coast of Miami, Florida on Friday (22May09), according to The Urban Daily.

But the hip-hop star was only able to enjoy married life with his new wife for a few short days – he checked himself into the Forrest City federal prison on Tuesday (26May09) to begin a 366-day prison sentence for his conviction on illegal weapons possession charges.

He was accompanied by his fiancée, Kijafa Frink, and they were traveling back to Virginia with several members of a security team arranged by Vick’s team of lawyers and advisers, a person familiar with the plans told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to comment on the matter.

The traveling party also includes a videographer recording the journey, the person said, although what Vick plans to do with the footage has not been announced.

Kim Kardashian’s and the family store was vandalized in Miami this week. Is this a coincidence that the show is starting up and they want viewers or did it really happen? Your call.

All of the graffiti on the wall was gang-related and there were carvings in the glass.  All in all, the damage is pretty bad, but they’re painting over it now!  Luckily nothing was taken from the store, but as a precaution we called and filed a police report and the police came to the store. Of course the paparazzi were all over this, and assumed our new Dash store had been the intentional target.

We want to make it clear that no one was targeting the store or Kim,Khloe and myself, specifically. The location of the store has remained a secret since we started filming, so there’s no way whoever graffiti’d the store front knew it was Dash. They were just defacing buildings in the area.

Snoop Dogg has a long history of arrests for marijuana infractions, this is no secret.  This time Snoop was staying at the Norfolk Plaza Hotel in Virgina when the staff received a suspicious package addressed to one of the singer’s crew members and decided to call the cops.

Authorities began monitoring that package and then showed up to arrest the recipient for misdemeanor marijuana possession.  Lucky for the crewman, the rapper showed up to take the fall.  He simply flashed his medical marijuana card and stated that the goods were intended for him.

Shit didn’t fly though, they still arrested the guy and theres an ongoing investigation..

The info is unverified, but with everyone wondering why “Milkshake” singer while seven months pregnant would divorce husband Nas, this rumor sounds crazy enough to hold weight. A source from Nas’ camp reportedly told  TheYBF.com that it was the rapper who pushed for the split, after he learned of a sex tape in her past.

The raunchy sexcapades were taped before Nas and Kelis got married, but apparently it didn’t matter.  He physically removed himself from her presence, which is why we rarely saw them together these last few months.

Said source also tells us this pregnancy was Kelis’ last ditch attempt to save the marriage.  And while Nas is happy with his son being on the way, he was still going to file for divorce.  But apparently, Kelis wanted to beat him to the punch–likely out of spite–so she hurriedly filed first.

It took a little more than 24 hours, and there was no ticking-time-bomb scenario, but Kiefer Sutherland finally made it.
Jack Bauer’s alter ego arrived this afternoon at a New York police station, where he was charged for allegedly head-butting a fashion designer at a party early Tuesday.
The 42-year-old Sutherland showed up at about 4 p.m. ET at the 1st Precinct in lower Manhattan, according to an NYPD spokeswoman.
Sutherland dodged reporter questions as he entered the building flanked by his lawyers. After answering questions from investigators, he was booked on one count of misdemeanor assault and issued an appearance citation, which allows the 24 star to travel until his arraignment.
